The ever-elevating diversity within the United States population presents myriad opportunities as well as challenges to health care frameworks, care service providers, and policymakers in formulating and delivering culturally competent services. Whereas health is defined by numerous factors surpassing the traditional health care setting, the current healthcare model is engulfed by unrelenting challenges with cultural competency, plus racial, ethnic, and gender diversities. In this course we will explore cultural competence and diversity in healthcare.
