Why this course is for you
Many lives are lost each year due to cardiac arrest! While some of these events are witnessed, some individuals die alone without the necessary resuscitation attempts required to save their lives. When CPR is performed correctly and promptly, it can help preserve life, limit disability and restore health. This course will teach you the basics of CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) following American Heart Association Guidelines and is NOT a substitute for a LIVE certification class.
At the completion of this course the student will be able to

- Explain the purpose of an AED and how to use it
